Marcus Conyers, Author, 21st Century Skills: A Key to America’s Future
International speaker, consultant and author Marcus Conyers facilitates presentations on 21st Century Skills for leading, teaching, and learning based on his 14 books and the graduate degree programs co-developed by partner Donna Wilson and the Fischler School of Education at Nova Southeastern University. He devoted 30 years in 35 countries to developing the BrainSMART® approach to cultivating the 21st Century Skills that students, adults, and organizations need to thrive in the global brain-powered economy. The approach has been supported by a prestigious Annenberg Challenge Grant though Florida Atlantic University and was used for a successful Florida Department of Education three year initiative.
Conyers has personally shared his practical strategies with over 100,000 administrators and teachers who reach millions of students nationally and he has been featured in over 600 TV and radio shows around the world. He has worked with superintendents, principals and teachers, the Army Rangers and Navy Seals through his work with Joint Special Forces University, as well as with counter terrorist/counter intelligence and law enforcement agencies, and Fortune 500 companies. A dynamic keynote speaker he is best known for sharing cutting-edge research and passionately modeling effective strategies for putting this research into practice. Conyers humorous and engaging educational keynote style has been influenced by his work with fellow Englishman John Cleese from Monty Python's Flying Circus. His mission is that by 2020 all students will be learning the 21st Century Skills they need to reach their full potential, his enthusiasm for this radiates through all he does.

He is also co-founder of the Center for Innovative Education and Prevention, a non profit organization dedicated to the early prevention of cardiovascular disease.
